“BREAKING BREAD & BREAKING CYCLES” A SPECIAL HOLIDAY MEAL AT MCJDC
As the saying goes, ‘tis the Season for giving. Soon, most will be thinking of the underprivileged children and their needs. Sadly, they will leave out a group of children, who for whatever reasons are spending the Holidays behind prison bars. Especially this time of year, all children are deserving of LOVE. We feel that the children behind the bars are those of a greater need than most… not for gifts but for feelings of being cared about and LOVED. Please join us in a quest that we’re taking on December 6, 2014, at the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center to provide a “Breaking Bread & Breaking Cycles” special Holiday Meal. We are going to provide 100 youths (centers full capacity count) with a great cultural meal in order to inspire those of them whom have made some wrong choices, which has led to lives absence of knowledge, and to the spoiling of their minds.

The youth are going to enjoy a great cultural meal (Irish or German).  It will be something other than what they would experience at home. We don’t want to remind them of home.   We want to make them aware that there is a great big world outside of their Neighborhood, City and State. They will also receive some great food for thought… getting a first-hand account from guest speakers who use to eat unhealthy street food (gangs, drugs and crime) and are now serving their minds meals that have help to change their lives…

We are truly grateful for any amount of donation to help us feed these children’s minds and bodies.  See, unlike most asking for donations, we have ways to show our appreciation that will benefit your company for providing a donation. Please review the below information:

$50.00     We will provide you with a business card sized ad on AMPS online magazine…

$100.00   We will provide you with a business card sized ad in AMPS printed magazine, a 1/4 page ad in AMPS online magazine, and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Marion County Juvenile Detention.

$200.00   We will provide you a 1/4 page ad in AMPS printed magazine, a 1/2 page ad in AMPS Online magazine, and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Marion County Juvenile Detention & “THE REAL”.
